Southbank's README warns of a hole in the floor at one end, carried over from the original, and lamps off during the day. Big maps are heavy: the Skate 3 map is 690 MB and Skate2Map is nearly 1 GB. The dedicated Skate 3 map guide covers install and performance in depth.

Trainer: Physics Sliders Built Into ReSkate
The Trainer changes how you practice. First released as a standalone fork by Nakas (version 0.3.0), it was merged into ReSkate and ships with every release since 1.0.9, so there is nothing extra to install. Press Insert in game to open the ReSkate menu, then open the TRAINER page.
Per the trainer's announcement post, you get one-click presets (super high ollie, fast flips, never bail), a Tune tab with every physics value by name, Practice tools (game speed, pause, five marker slots per map, teleport), and a Map and HUD tab with speed read-outs and jump telemetry.

The FAKIE pack's README asks for ReSkate 1.1.3 or newer and asks you to remove older Skate 3 cosmetic copies so items appear once. Music packs run to hundreds of megabytes, so install one station at a time. Thunderstore forbids mods that unlock paid content, so anything there is custom work, not a store unlock.
How to Install Any Mod in Three Steps
Every mod here installs the same way. The full mod install tutorial shows the Thunderstore route with pictures.
- Open
ReSkateLauncher.exeand go to the MODS tab. - Search the mod by name and click install; the launcher pulls in anything it depends on.
- Press PLAY, then toggle the mod in game under the MODS tab of the ReSkate menu (Insert).
Manual alternative: download the package .zip from Thunderstore and drop it on the launcher window, or unzip it into its own folder inside Mods\ next to Skate.exe. Every player needs the same map installed to play it on a server.
The ReSkate README's Mods section says it plainly: only install mods you trust, because script mods can run code. Get ReSkate itself only from the official GitHub Releases, keep your own free Steam copy of skate. installed, and treat random re-uploads with suspicion.
Keep Mods Working After ReSkate Updates
When ReSkate updates, the launcher merges your mods before PLAY and names any broken mod instead of loading it. If a favorite stops loading, update ReSkate, reinstall the mod, and disable anything flagged. No build change has broken mods yet, since EA has not pushed a new Steam build in ReSkate's first days. The mod compatibility table tracks exactly this.
